The Turks Head, Penzance are getting ready for Christmas!
A popular choice with locals and visitors alike and offering a tantalising menu of fresh local produce alongside a variety of local ales and spirits, The Turks Head is situated on Chapel Street and is reputedly the oldest pub in Penance. The pub itself is steeped in history and is reputed to date from 1233 when during the crusades, the Turks invaded Penance from Jerusalem.
This year they will have a festive menu running AND for those who don’t fancy cooking they are open for Christmas Day Lunch too!
FESTIVE MENU
A two and three course festive menu is available from the 20th November- 30th December (excluding Christmas Day).
Think crispy ham hock terrine and pan-fried salmon with south Devon crab, mascarpone & dill ravioli to name a few alongside turkey and traditional trimmings for those embracing the season.
CHRISTMAS DAY
Three course menu served from midday onwards and features beautifully inventive dishes whilst giving the classic turkey & traditional trimmings the respect they deserve
FESTIVE BUFFET
For larger groups (of ten or more people) there is a Festive Buffet option at £27 per person.
This is available from 20th November – 30th December (excluding Christmas Day). The menu features festive stuffed Yorkshire puddings, garlic and parmesan toasted breads and pulled lamb shepherd’s pie, there is something for everyone
