The Brisons… a great new addition to St Just

The Brisons is a delightful little café in St Just, which opened its doors on the 1st April this year. It is situated in what was previously known as The Cookbook, a successful St Just café for just under twenty years. Following the closure of The Cookbook, local man Les Taskis decided to purchase the property and open it as a new café… The Brisons.

Already the café’s all day breakfasts have proved to be incredibly popular with locals and visitors alike. These are served daily alongside a variety of hot and cold Lunches and homemade cakes. Looking ahead there are plans for the café to open as a restaurant in the evenings specialising in fish and steak dishes.

The ethos of The Brisons is local community, which is at the heart of everything they do. They have recruited staff from within the local community and have a fantastic team who understand the importance of good customer service, which adds to the great atmosphere and welcome that their customers experience. The café is dog friendly so those furry friends won’t have to miss out!

The menu utilises the best in locally sourced produce. The fish is sourced from nearby Newlyn, meat and pasties are sourced from Harvey Brothers Butchers and the local baker ‘Paul’s Bread’ provides breads.

Whether it’s a coffee, a cup of tea and a slice of cake, or a hearty meal you are after, The Brisons is definitely worth a visit! They are open seven days a week; Monday – Friday 8.30am until 4pm and 9am until 4pm on Saturdays & Sundays.
